套管由瓷套、安装法兰及导电部分装配而成,母线穿墙套管不带导电部分。瓷套与法兰固定方式,除35kV高原型以及部分耐污型产品采用机械卡装外,其余均用水泥胶合剂胶装;铜质电杆采用定心垫圈和螺母固定,铜、铝导电排采用定心垫圈和开口销固定。对母线穿墙套管所带安装用夹板,出厂时未加工开口尺寸,以便用户根据实际选用的母线规格型式自行确定开口尺寸。瓷件表面一般上棕釉。安装法兰一般采用灰铸铁,但电流等级为1500A及以上产品的法兰、端帽及定心垫圈采用硅铝合金,以降低套管在长期工作下的发热温度。各种黑色金属附件表面涂灰磁漆。
